Leadership Principles

"Set goals with a sense of urgency. Know that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail and always do what you say you are going to do!”

Here is a perfect personal example for you:

I am currently in the Public Relations program at Niagara College, at first I was really excited about how challenging it would be and how it would give me great skills for becoming a professional (Building on my writing, computer, presentation skills etc). Well being terrified of the presentation-aspect of this program made me want to drop out second semester, and as I was telling a lady from the Canadian Public Relation Society that I met a few months earlier, she told me "You can't quit this. If you keep changing your mind, you will honestly go no where in life." Which sounds horrible to say, but wow did that smack me back into reality. Speaking in front of a crowd is something that everyone should try to get better at on a daily basis. It just boggles my mind now, that I would let a fear like that almost ruin my future as a Public Relations Practitioner.

“Real change is sustained by being accountable to daily habits and behaviors”

Lead by example first.” “Get people excited about doing the things they need to get done.Show encouragement for every success, no matter how small. Create a spark in other people to succeed”
