Achieving our dreams

Ask yourself honestly:

1. Am i living up to my potential?

Honestly (for the majority of us)... No.

2. What do I need to do to take my life to where I want to take it?

3. what is in my life that gives me a sense of value?

So you must be wondering: what stops us from achieving our dreams?

I'm sorry to break it to you, but it's you.

Your inner voice is what talks you out of your dreams, and that inner conversation is exactly what stops you from achieving your dreams.

The wealthiest place in the planet is not goldmines, Hollywood, Dubai. When you really think about it. It's the grave yard, where inventions, hopes, dreams, ideas we were never exposed to. These great ideas, inventions, hopes aren't out in the world, because that brilliant person talked themself out of it.

We have so much potential, so many great ideas, why do we do this to ourselves?

  1. Fear *Note: Fear of falling and and loud sounds is what we are born with, everything else we learn. *

  2. Comfortable - People become satisfied and don't bother dreaming anymore.

Personally, I love a state of continual growing. We all should and in every aspect of our lives - relationships, careers, passions, hobbies, skills etc.

  3. Not feeling worthy - procrastinating, squandering your time.

  4. COMPLAINING - what is this doing? You might as well say "It's not really worth doing anything to change it, so I will just accept it and complain"

In conclusion: SHUT UP and do something about it.

Please keep in mind that someones opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

  1. Kristen,
I think some of us perhaps have dreams that are a little bit smaller than inventions. For some dreams are simply to be happy and I think most of us want what is best for ourselves and we are constantly working towards being happy. Some dream bigger and for those who cant be satisfied with out living these big dreams are the ones who make it and the ones who follow all of your steps. I really enjoyed this advice makes you think about how you are going to get what you want even if it is happiness.

  2. I believe that fear stops us from doing a lot of things. One of the best pieces of advice I was ever given was to do one thing a day that scares you.

  3. I love being able to give people advice on being the best that thy could be Kris and you did a fantastic job in doing so. I strongy believe that in order to say it one has to follow through and do it. Strength, courage and having faith in yourself will move you mountains. Keep believeing, keep doing and enjoy the thrill whether it is cliff jumping or not. Be cautious, but enjoy the wonders and opportunities that await you.

  4. It's true. Sometimes, you just have to shut up and do it! I know, i often think about all the reasons why I can't, and in my doing that I never get anywhere. Literally, thinking that you are not good enough or you can't achieve your goals, or actuallly not takingg the necessary steps to fulfill your dreams is very crippling. You have to fram your mind for success in order to be successful!
